When I started in 1997 repairing old buildings which are of architectural interest and worth to be restored in the new federal states after reunification of Germany, I found it not only to be interesting, but also found the structures worthy of preserving. I gave these complexes a new and updated look while also designing them to fit the modern ways of living in the 21st century. Thanks to cutting-edge ideas we build some precious objects which in turn upgraded the quality of living in their respective quarters and areas.
After successfully building more than 1,500 standard single family houses in 17 years, I wanted to focus on a more ambitious project. So I decided to construct properties with 8-12 multifamily homes that are close to the town center, affordable and of a fair price. These homes are intended for the middle class who would like to fulfill their dream of owning a home.
Berlin, in particular as the capital of Germany, has experienced continuous growth and the demand for flats and houses increased while the supply of space remains on a stable but low level. Since the government struggles to keep up with the expanse of business, colleges and lifestyles in Berlin, I took it as my personal responsibility to offer places to live and aim to address lack of affordable flats with my new business field: Apartment Construction.
